Job overview and responsibilities

The Analyst will be responsible for assisting business users in identifying and understanding data sources that can be used to meet their needs in resolving business issues and/or developing reports. This individual will need to have a good understanding of the various data sources available and data analysis/reporting tools that the business users will be utilizing.

  • Have good knowledge of the various databases and other data sources that are available to meet business and system needs

  • Have a clear understanding of various data types like Bookings, Ticketed Sales, Flown Revenue, APM, etc.

  • Demonstrate experience in working with large relational databases

  • Assist the business users and technical teams in analysis of data and developing reports

  • Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security and metadata

  • Code basic SQL queries to extract data for data analysis or for reporting

  • Creation of reports using data visualization tools like Power BI, Spotfire and Tableau

  • Develop and maintain stored procedures that are used to process data on the database

  • Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports

  • Processing of confidential data and information according to guidelines, i.e., PII, PCI, GDPR, etc.


  • Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations

  • Experience with SQL, relational databases and data manipulation

  • Ability to work independently and manage several simultaneous projects with a focus on results

  • 3-5 years data analyst work experience

  • Must have airline experience

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position


  • Experience with Power BI, Spotfire, Tableau or any other data visualization tool

  • Experience with Salesforce
