Technical Operations/Maintenance

Technical Operations includes the maintenance, repair and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.

Job overview and responsibilities

Technical Operations supply chain deliveries career opportunities where planning, operations and finance intersect. Working together, our group strives to operate a fully integrated supply chain that is dependable, efficient, and resourceful in support of the Company's aircraft maintenance goals. This lead position is responsible for training design, learning delivery and ownership of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Lead compliance initiatives for the organization (e.g., corporate, SOX, FAA, GMM) and training regulations. Communicate immediate corrective action for safety deficiencies.

  • Lead resolutions at warehouses in support of variance remediation. Develop and monitor KPIs to measure effectiveness of remediation.

  • Lead training courses and curricula to ensure required and recurrent training is current. Monitor and report training liabilities. Develop and implement a plan to mitigate the liability.

  • Participate in audits (e.g., corporate, QC, SOX, FAA). Approve revisions for GMM's, SOP and DOP's.

  • Assess new learnings after audits and support continuous improvement activities and present to senior leaders.


  • BS/BA degree in business management, supply chain, continuous improvement or related discipline

  • One to three years experience managing multiple large complex projects across multiple functions.

  • Experience with process and system mapping and analysis.

  • Experience with training course development and delivery and continuous improvement

  • Experience managing and mentoring large team.

  • Experience presenting, escalating and providing solutions to senior leadership.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to partner effectively across various disciplines.

  • Strong technical communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills.

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio proficient

  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position


  • Microsoft SharePoint proficient

  • Project management certification; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification

  • Experience working within SDLC/PMLC and track record of delivery.

  • Knowledge of CBT tools
