Job overview and responsibilities

The People Analytics team is responsible for providing data driven people insights that drive the organization forward.

The People Analytics Advisor will partner with Business and Human Resource Leaders across the Enterprise, the HR Technology team, and the Enterprise Analytics team to identify, define and execute sustainable people analytics initiatives. This role requires business intuition, project management experience, and ability to use analytical tools and methods to gain insights from data.

  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify key initiatives, and engage people analytics team members to execute delivery of sustainable solutions to business problems, using data analysis, advanced analytics and data engineering best practices

  • Leverage data from a variety of sources to analyze performance in key people metrics, identify areas of opportunity, and provide actionable insights to HR business partners and/or operations leaders

  • Track projects from ideation to completion, including creating project roadmaps, detailed project plans and requirements documentation; Lead status meetings and manage frequent status communication to key stakeholders and senior leadership as required

  • Testing of downstream data or applications to validate data accuracy/quality

  • Manage and/or mentor junior team members; participate in hiring processes


  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (statistics, engineering, business analytics, information systems, aviation management or related degree)

  • Experience with database interface tools, SQL and programming concepts

  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience working with large datasets and reporting or visualization tools, ability to tell a story using data

  • Experience with Tableau, Spotfire or other visualization tools

  • Outstanding writing, communication and presentation skills

  • Passionate about data analytics and visionary for how it can be applied, with strong strategic/critical thinking and problem-solving skills to complement

  • Strong organization and project leadership skills, and strong attention to detail

  • Ability to thrive in project environments that often start with uncertain requirements or outcomes; ability to put definition and structure around problems and projects

  • Ability to proactively manage stakeholder expectations on current and future business needs

  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts in a clear, precise and actionable manner

  • 5+ years of experience in analytical role (analysis, information science, data visualization or other relevant quantitative field)

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position


  • Advanced Degree in quantitative field (statistics, engineering, business analytics, information systems, aviation management or related degree)

  • Experience with statistical tools and concepts (R, SPSS, SAS)

  • Experience with programming language such as Python

  • Experience with statistical analysis and modeling including linear regression, segmentation, non-linear predictive (e.g. logistic) regression and machine learning

  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or people analytics
