Job overview and responsibilities

The primary role of the Senior Manager – UAX Operations is to maintain a close tie between the operation and the strategic UAX groups. The Senior Manager reports directly to the Managing Director - UAX Analysis and Performance Management and is responsible for being the primary point of contact for operational issues that require intervention and problem solving from the larger UAX organization to drive actionable and measurable improvements within the UAX organization. Additionally this person will proactively identify opportunities to improve our operational performance and actively look for process improvement opportunities within our day-of operations.

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for operational issues identified by the operational team within the NOC.

  • Proactively monitors the operation and identifies areas of opportunity where we can improve day-of operations.

  • Escalates issues as they occur to UAX leadership and works to drive solutions to in the moment problems.

  • Looks for process improvement opportunities within the day-to-day operation to improve communication, planning and problem solving with our UAX partners.

  • Summarizes and reports out to senior leadership on key operational challenges and provides situation reports on on-going issues.


  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 7+ years of experience in an operational role at a highly complex organization

  • Airport and Network operations

  • Knowledge of regional airlines and how they operate

  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated leadership ability in a team environment

  • Able to quickly react to operational issues and take decisions based on core4 principles

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position


  • MBA or Advanced Degree

  • Experience working within the Network Operations Center of a large airline

  • Experience in process improvement and data analysis

  • Previous airline business experience

  • Experience working with regional airlines

  • Experience leading teams in an operational environment
