Job overview and responsibilities
Position responsibilities include digital post-production to include video and audio editing, graphics creation and file compression, the finishing of on-line projects to include color grade and full audio mix, and assistance with digital file management and the maintenance and upkeep of the facility and components; when needed, recording high definition video and audio projects, on location lighting, and other production responsibilities as needed, such as teleprompter. This role requires in-depth knowledge of digital media production and post-production techniques and familiarity with a variety of digital cameras, lenses, production support hardware as well as and editing, motion graphics and compression software. Some file asset management experience required.
On-line finishing of media projects - color grade, audio mix, effects rendering, etc.
Post-production (video and audio editing & graphics creation) & file compression/distribution
Production - recording of small-scale UA events with variety of UHD components
Lighting on location and audio recording
Assist with digital asset file management as needed
Regular maintenance to ensure system reliability and functionality in edit suites
Continued research and strategic planning to stay ahead of new trends and applications
Hold a minimum of a high school diploma or associates degree
Background in production and post-production environment with some server and cloud-based media platforms in broadcast, corporate, technology or related industries
Minimum of two years of professional experience working in a production and post-production environment
Strong familiarity with Adobe Premiere and Creative Suite product line for general post-production and file compression
Some server and cloud-based file storage and media management
Demonstrated experience with HD & 4K cameras; lighting instruments such as LED light panels, divas, etc.
Ability to multi-task in a fluid and time-line sensitive work environment
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple clients
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
