Warehouse Agent, Food Services - Denver, CO (DEN)

Starting salary: $11.95 per hour with regular pay increases at six months, one year and every year on the hire anniversary date

Please note that this position will be hired under the Chelsea Food Services divisional work rules.

Job overview and responsibilities

  • Complete and pull requisitions for inventory

  • Stock received materials

  • Assist with end of the month inventory

  • Relieve all vacations

  • Transport or deliver equipment to cargo

  • Pass non-catering driving test

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of storeroom

  • Receive and store food products and materials

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required

  • High school diploma/General Educational Development (GED) or educational equivalent

  • Walking and standing for entire shift; includes bending, reaching and stretching

  • Ability to lift and carry to receive, store and deliver product or material

  • Ability to push and pull soda/liquor pallets with pallet jack

  • Ability to climb heights over 10 feet to store product of pull requisitions

  • Detail-oriented

  • Basic math skills to take inventory

  • Good organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a cold refrigerator and freezer

  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently

Preferred

  • Six months experience working at Chelsea

  • Forklift experience

  • Previous warehouse experience

Other

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must have a valid US driver's license

  • Must be able to complete a 10-year background and physical examination

  • Must be willing and able to work ANY shift in a 24 hour-a-day /7 day-a-week operation, including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays

  • Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, holidays and overtime as needed

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

  • Relocation assistance is NOT provided for this position
